Fighting The Ebola Virus

Hello Everyone,

I noticed that everyone is panicking over the Ebola disease. So what I've learned is that Ebola has been around for a long time and it is not a new disease. I'm not a doctor, but I'm doing research on how to fight against Ebola. Some sicknesses can be prevented ahead of time if common sense is used. Please keep in mind that the Ebola virus falls into the Filoviridae family and is also called filovirus and filovirus hemorrhagic fever . Of course, it is very important to wash your hands with warm or hot water and SOAP, which kills bacteria. According to Wikipedia, Ebola viruses can be eliminated with heat (heating for 30 to 60 minutes at 60 °C or boiling for 5 minutes). On surfaces, some lipid solvents such as some alcohol-based products, detergents, sodium hypochlorite (bleach) or calcium hypochlorite (bleaching powder), and other suitable disinfectants at appropriate concentrations can be used as disinfectants. Some people don't believe in Wikipedia research, but Wikipedia has proof of their research placed on the bottom of their web pages on every subject that is discussed. Also, these suggestions are worth a try. I'm trying to keep myself educated about the disease. And I'm also disappointed and sickened to my stomach with Republicans who try to use the Ebola virus as a way to say things against President Obama and the rest of the Democratic Party. There is a real life-threatening outbreak going on and all the Republicans can think about is using this virus that is claiming lives of people to boost up their political party. This is sick and inhuman! For preventing this virus, try Riboflavin (b2), Vitamin C and Vitamin K (just take a chance and see what happens). Please keep in mind that VITAMINS MUST BE TAKEN AHEAD OF TIME AND AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! If these don't work at least I tried to give some suggestions.

Republican Governor Bentley Of Alabama Owes The African American Community An Apology

Dear Gov. Bentley,

Your comments regarding a missing 8-year-old African American girl were disgraceful. Not only did you insult the family of this young child, but you stereotyped and insulted the African American Community. This child was a human being. We as a community are already upset at the fact that there was no AMBER Alert for this child. We are hurt and angry. Governor Bentley, you are one of those people who are living proof that racism is very much alive and well in America. You, Governor Bentley owe all of the African American Community within USA a public apology!

Shooting of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri

Greetings Everyone,

I hate the fact that Michael Brown got shot. I hate the fact that the police used tear gas to try to keep things under control in Ferguson. All of that was bad. My prayers and my heart goes out to Brown's family. I hate the fact that African American people are more likely to be targets of the police and the rest of the system. And the citizens of Ferguson, Missouri are right to protest. I think the police officer that shot Michael Brown should be arrested and put on trial. BUT according to the news and the rest of the media, there are some (not all) citizens of Ferguson that are breaking into businesses and looting. My dear brothers and sisters, this is not protesting. There is a difference between holding protests and just doing things just to be doing it. Don't get me wrong, we all have a right to get angry, but what affect us is how we use our anger, for good or for bad. When people do things just to be doing it, such as breaking into buildings and looting, people destroy their own community. When people do things just to be doing it, they give the police a reason to arrest them. They allow other people to have negative views and opinions about them. There are some police officers out there that get a kick and a thrill out of arresting African Americans and other minorities in the United States of America, so why would some of the looting African Americans in Ferguson give them that satisfaction? While people are going out to commit senseless crimes out of anger, such as breaking into buildings and looting, in order to prove a point, those same people are also proving the point of some of the police officers' as well. Protesting is considered to be walking with their hands up (as a sign of surrender) and holding signs in the air, not committing crimes out of anger and putting other citizens as well as children in danger. We as African Americans have got to be smart and use our minds. Some (not all) of the citizens of Ferguson who are breaking and entering into buildings and looting have turned a reasonable protest into a riot.

Open Letter To President Obama

Dear President Obama,

I have an idea of how you can get Congress to do their job. In school, teachers give students a report to do and give them a due date. If the students don't have their report completed when the due date comes, then the students fail. And when the students fail, their grade in class drops. The students may or may not fail the subject that they need in order to graduate. If you have an idea of a bill, tell Congress about it and give Congress a due date to make a decision. If Congress haven't made a decision upon your due date, then you can make your decision on that bill on your own. This citizens of the United States can see how Congress alone is doing in the White House regarding making decisions. In plain English, this will make Congress look bad if they can't make a decision. If there is something Congress don't understand, they should ask you (President Obama) questions.

Good Luck Mr. President!

Crisis at United States-Mexican Border

Greetings Everyone,

Wow, some people tend to forget. The American citizens who were and still are holding up signs protesting and shouting and telling the buses to turn around and go back have failed to realize that their ancestors used to be refugees, coming to America, only they were on a ship. While some Americans are saying "No, they can't stay. They can't stay!", ask yourself this question: Did the Native Americans (who were in America first) say "No, they can't stay!", when your ancestors were trying to find "refuge" from their country that they were trying escape from? Simply because your ancestors wanted to choose their religion or have some kind of say in their way of life? American citizens, I think somewhere this country and the people that lived and died here has lost their humanity, and succeeding in being wrapped around their ignorance. As I watched the news, I noticed all the racism the U.S. citizens were displaying with their signs at the Mexican-USA border. I mean, really? The negative attitudes of American citizens' about the crisis at the Mexican-USA border are a disgrace and embarrassment throughout the entire world because of this terrible, negative message is being sent. These refugees who are risking everything by escaping from their own country are human beings. As I said about human beings before, they inhale and exhale through their lungs, bleed the same blood, have the same body organs that function the same way, have voices and talk when they open their mouths. These human beings are trying to escape the horrors of what is going on in their country. Human beings can't go through life being afraid. It isn't healthy going through life in anxiety and fear. These precious human beings want to live, they don't want to die. Freedom is a priceless gift and they have a lot to live for. They need to feel safe in their lives. This crisis at Mexican-USA Border is human obligation. Humans on this earth are obligated to rescue and save other human beings. As human beings, we CAN'T tell the buses filled with refugees to turn around and go home. We can't make the refugees go back to a place that is plagued with violence everywhere they turn their heads, wondering whether will live or die. It will be like throwing and pushing them inside a dark room full of poisonous and deadly snakes while they are reaching for your hand to help them out. These refugees from our neighboring countries need help. There's going to be a time when we as the United States of America will need help from our allies soon. The United States of America alone doesn't have everything regarding resources that are necessary for survival. That is why we have to maintain trading relationships with other countries in order to maintain stability on this earth. The relationships that we as a (United States) country have with our allies (other counties) are bridges that we can't afford to burn.

United States Citizens Taking Second Amendment Too Far

Greetings Everyone,

I read in USA Today that a restaurant called Shooter's Grill in Colorado allows their waitresses to carry their guns around their waist. People, this is beyond crazy. Some American Citizens are taking this Second Amendment in the United States Constitution entirely too far. Sometimes, when people have rights, power and privileges, they have the tendency to abuse them and hurt other people. The love of guns is a sick obsession that has dangerous consequences along the way. Caring a gun on the side of you to a restaurant  or any kind of place intended for family enjoyment would be jeopardizing the safety of other people. Please keep mind that real guns are not toys! Guns hurt, injure, and kill. Guns are so dangerous, they can easily go off because of someone's clumsiness of accidentally being dropped on the floor or the ground from someone's just holding it in their hands. Everyone's human balance isn't stable nor perfect. People have the tendency to drop many objects such as pens, pencils, a stack of paper, or even some keys (even if the keys have been in your hand for a long period of time). When a gun goes off that bullet can go anywhere to an unknown destination, whether it's toward a ceiling or to a wall or to a human being, adult or child, at the same speed of a lightning strike. I, too believe in the right to bare arms, but in reality, there is a limit. In my belief of the Second Amendment of the Constitution, it means protection from crime and danger. I believe in keeping a gun for protection for my place of residence and putting it up in a safe place to keep out of reach of other people, because, after all, a gun can fall into the wrong hands.

Who Do You Think You Are? Open Letter to Pamela Geller

Dear Pamela,

As an Christian American, I too believe in the first amendment of the Constitution. But after I seen that sign on the subway, you went too far Pamela. Pamela who do you think you are? Who are you on this earth to even say or even have the thought in your head about who is more civilized than the other? Do you realize they said the same thing about your parents during the Hitler era?  It is very ignorant as well as arrogant of you to say that someone is better than the other. You as a human on this earth don't have the right to decide or even say who is superior or inferior or who is fit to live on this earth, Pamela. You as a human don't have the right to decide which religion is better than the other, Pamela.  Stop the ignorance Pamela. Your negative attitude won't accomplish anything. Throughout history, the word, "savage" was about people who were different from the Europeans and it was used repeatedly by the European explorers who went to other countries and came across people who didn't look like other Europeans. No one has the right to call anyone on this earth an offensive name simply because they are different from you or you don't understand them. The word, "savage" was used for purposes of racism and it is a word that I despise and hate. When you call someone a savage, you are saying that person is "untaught", "inhuman", and "barbaric". Not everyone's method of teaching is the same, it is different. Not everyone's arrangement of living is the same, it is different. We are all human, we are not wild animals. Whether we are Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Islamists, Hindu, White, African American, Native American, Asian, Pacific Islander, Latino, Hispanic, Caribbean, we all bleed the same blood and have the same body organs. We all communicate with our voices. We as people in this world are all children of GOD. GOD made all of us. We as human beings around the world are all unique and that what makes the world fascinating!
