My Thoughts About Phil Robertson of Duck Dynasty

Greetings Everyone,

I've been thinking about this situation about that guy from Duck Dynasty. Phil Robertson has no business calling anyone a swindlers or an adulterer because he is not a perfect person himself. Phil Robertson is not fit to pass judgment on any human being in this world. There are people who are straight that are swindlers and adulterers. Some (not all) people who are married go out and cheat on their spouses. There are some people like Phil Robertson who been around certain same kinds of other people all their lives that they don't understand the difference between right and wrong. In my opinion, Phil Robertson has not been around different kinds of people from all over the world, he has been around the same people all his life. There are a lot of people in this world that have the common sense not to say offensive things that can be heard by other people because they know what it could lead to. There are some Republicans out there who know not to say offensive things about people where it can be heard. Ignorance grows and passes from generation to generation. Some people can be offensive and insensitive so long in their lives they don't realize when they are offending other people. Phil Robertson is very close-minded and don't understand the philosophies, ideas, and opinions from different people of the world has changed over the years during his existence on earth. In reality, people come in different shapes, sizes, colors, and all of them came to earth with hearts beating of various emotions. Bigotry is unacceptable. For years, bigotry has not made any accomplishments in this world. If anyone believes in Phil Robertson's bigotry, they are just as ignorant and close minded as he is. There are some people in this country who are really racists and homophobic but they don't like to admit it because they don't to be labeled with ugly words such as a "racist" or a "bigot" because those words don't sound good. Now some people just love to label themselves as  "GOD-fearing" and "Christians" because those labels are as sweet as honey on their tongue. But those same people who love to label themselves with those sweet words are not as GOD-fearing and Christian-like as they say they are. Those same people who label themselves as Christians can be the same people who will show hatred toward other people who are different from them in a heartbeat simply because they don't understand the people who are different. People who are GOD-fearing and Christian like are suppose to express compassion and respect for all people regardless of who they are. People who are gay, lesbian, or bisexual are normal regular people. They have the same body organs and they have the same red blood as straight people have.

Open Letter to Senator Jeff Sessions (R-AL) About Immigration

Dear Senator Jeff Sessions,

I notice that you've developed a large interest in the subject of immigration in the United States. However, there is something about you that concerns me regarding your views of immigrants in the US, Senator Sessions. During my upbringing years of my childhood my first lesson came from my first teachers of education, my parents, and that lesson was and still is: Never forget where I came from! The very first American citizens were Native Americans (and you and I both know the rule of discovery: whoever was the first to step on that land first and settle in it first was the first to discover it). The Europeans and people from several other countries who are the second to arrive came to America on the Mayflower Compact because they've grown tired of the strict rules in England were immigrants. Your fellow immigrant ancestors from the past, Senator Sessions, came to America looking for independence and opportunity. While you are entirely too busy talking about how the modern immigrants get into the United States of America, I'm trying to figure out how you and your ancestors, Senator Sessions, got into the United States of America. Did your ancestors get into this country like the other people who had to fill out papers first? Or did your ancestors just come to this country by ship and slowly, "take over and claimed the land as theirs"? Your ancestors, Senator Sessions, came to America to look for jobs and opportunity also just like today's immigrants. The immigrants from all over the world came to The United States of America to seek a better life. What would your ancestors from another country from the past say if they were standing in front of your face Senator? How would you tell your own ancestors from another country that they are the problem and they are taking American citizens' jobs? How would you tell your ancestors from another country from the past that they couldn't live in the "land of opportunity", The Wonderful Land of The United States of America? Senator Jeff Sessions, you forgot where you came from! You, Senator Sessions, have forgot that the fact that a long time ago, you and your ancestors use to be in the same position as the immigrants of today. Senator Sessions, you along with your ancestors who came to USA has lived to have numerous and unlimited opportunities, so let my immigrant brothers and sisters come to USA to have the same opportunities. To tell you the truth, Senator Sessions, immigrants bring several progressive and wonderful ideas to the United States of America that helps the country as well as the entire world.

The Root Of All Evil: The Destroyed Native American Mound in Alabama

Greetings Everyone,

When I learned that I have a Native American heritage, I wanted to do some research. I didn't know what a "mound" was so I did some searching and I came across some articles that the city of Oxford, Alabama destroyed a burial mound in order to build a Sam's Club there. I was curious about what was inside a burial mound. When I look at the pictures on Google I was in shock. There were skeletons of Native Americans from the past inside those mounds.

The small phrase "Money is the root of all evil" is worth over millions of sick, twisted and degrading examples and meanings. The moral teachings of the difference between what is right and what is wrong is tossed into the wind and thrown away like garbage. The fact that the mayor and city council of Oxford, Alabama decided to destroy a ancient Native American mound in order to build a Sam's Club is never ever going to be a subject in the past. This sick and treacherous decision will be in everyone's mind forever. I thought the state of Alabama loves to embrace the subject of history. My thoughts could be wrong. Maybe the truth is some of today's citizens of Alabama loves to embrace the history of their own people, the events of the Civil War, the Confederate Flag that some of the citizens of Alabama have embraced so much in the past and the present, the flag that some of the white citizens of Alabama hold in their front yards so proudly as they stretch out flowing with the wind, showing all its so-called glory, sticking its chest out and embracing it's ugly past. And how about those high and mighty women of slave owners who wear those huge dresses? The sun must have risen, shine, and set on their rich rear ends during their days of luxury, while my people were wearing rags to cover our nudity, and wearing scars, dirt and sweat that contributed from hard labor, abuse and rape. Some of the citizens of Alabama just love love love those old plantation homes that were built centuries ago and constant renovation is done over the years in order for it to stay the same way. And finally, how about those slave owners and Confederate Soldiers that the citizens of Alabama are constantly build monuments and memorials for? No one is better than anyone in the world. No one is no different that anybody else in the world. To even think that one race is better that another race is ignorant as well as arrogant.

For centuries, some Caucasian people (not all Caucasian people) have labeled anyone who is different from them as not human and as property (slavery), as indecent, as savages, as terrorist, even as a different kind of breed of an animal. For centuries, some Caucasians (not all Caucasian people) have made anybody who was different from them feel low in terms of self-esteem. For centuries, some Caucasian people (not all Caucasian people) made up stereotypes about anyone who was different from them. For centuries, did all these things simply because they didn't understand the cultures and traditions of anyone who was different, different in terms of religion and in terms of different languages.

Ladies and gentlemen as you read this blog entry, please keep in mind that I do love all people around the world, including Caucasian people and please understand that the paragraph that I just written is concerning Caucasians who don't like anyone who is different from them. I do believe that there are compassionate Caucasian people in the United States of America who see different kinds of people as individuals and care about who they are on the inside. I do believe that there are compassionate Caucasians in the United States of America who see past of what other people look like and only see what people are on the inside regarding personality. I do believe the fact that there are loving, kindhearted, caring and gentle Caucasians in the United States of America as well as around the world who are compassionate of different kinds of people and other things and issues. I hate racism and it is an ugly thing that should be a sin. I wish all people around the world would love the way GOD made all of them.

Whether it is realized or not, the mayor along with the city council of Oxford, Alabama are suppose to be role models, leaders to not only their citizens of Oxford but to the citizens of the United States of America as well as the entire world. The mayor along with the city council of Oxford, Alabama are even being watched by children and teenagers, who are students of elementary, middle, and high schools. Not only the mayor and the city council are leaders, but they are also teachers and role models, and the entire city of Oxford, Alabama taught a very bad lesson. The leaders of Oxford, Alabama has taught not only the adult citizens but also to children an ignorant statement: Only money is more important than humanity and morals. The city leaders of Oxford the adult and children who are citizens in the world another bad lesson: That only certain kinds of history are important. This hurts me because ignorance can be passed down from generation to generation. The truth is: All kinds of history is important. All displays and exhibits of past evidence are important because they all tell stories of how people lived and how the survived in the world. The mayor and city councils deprived the children from learning pieces of history that was proof of a Native American sacred civilizations really existed, civilizations that they read about in their social studies, geography and history books. How are we, the people of today, present and future are suppose to learn anything if people like the city leaders of Oxford, Alabama constantly take the past away? I'm afraid that people like the city leaders of Oxford, Alabama will keep on destroying and erasing pieces of the past until it gets to the point that we the people of the world will forget where we come from. Not only did the city leaders of Oxford, Alabama deprived all of us from learning about our Native American ancient civilization, but they have disrupted the final resting place of human beings. This year in Oxford, Alabama, the Native Americans who were buried in that ancient mound had their human rights taken away from them. These human beings are our ancestors, our great great great grandmothers and grandfathers, our aunts, our uncles, our cousins, our nieces and nephews, from a generation to another. This is the truth about the human race: All of us have Native American in our blood. Caucasians, Native Americans, African Americans, Asians, Hispanics, Latinos, Pacific Islanders and other races all around the world are all the same. We have the same blood, the same body parts, and we all breathe the same way.  Like the Holocaust in Germany several years ago, destroying the Native American mound was "a crime against humanity".

The Aftermath of the Mayoral Election in Mobile, Alabama

Hello Everyone,

I want to say that I'm disappointed on how the Mayoral Election in Mobile, Alabama turned out. Republican Candidate Sandy Stimpson won the election, but Sam Jones deserve another term because he(Sam Jones)was the best man for the job. Sam Jones did everything in his power for the city of Mobile regarding employment and protecting the citizens of Mobile from bankruptcy. Sam Jones had numerous progressive ideas that would've help press the city of Mobile forward. Please, as concerned citizens of Mobile, please don't forget the accomplishments that Sam Jones has brought to the city from all over the world such as ThyssenKrupp, Austal, SSAB, Airbus, Singapore Technologies, BAE, Safron, AVIC, and Publix Grocery(United States of America). Sam Jones always had a plan in order to deal with issues. Am I the only one in the city of Mobile, Alabama understands that not everything happens in the snap of two fingers? Am I the only one in this city that understands not everything happens overnight? Am I the only one in Mobile knows how to be patient? With the Republican Mayor-Elect Sandy Stimpson, I'm seeing, as people call them, red flags. According to the United States Republican Congress during their campaign, their complaint was there shortage of jobs for the American citizens. When they got into the White House, the Republican Congress' focused on only two things, and one of them were not "jobs, jobs, jobs". They were banning abortion (because they know they are about to be the minority)and getting rid of Obamacare (President Obama's Health Care Plan). Republicans always say the same song. Sandy Stimpson always say crime is on the rise (and it is) and he wants to make that a top priority. But he (Stimpson) has not (even during his campaign) told us what his plan is regarding bringing crime down in order to make Mobile safe. Sandy Stimpson also said he want to give employees raises in their salaries, but he has not explained how he will make this miracle happen. Where is Stimpson going to find the money to give them raises? This is a question that no one has even bothered to ask Stimpson. As a matter of fact, there are several questions that affect the city of Mobile that no one has bothered to ask Stimpson. If you want to make a difference in your neighborhood/community, city, state, or country and do something in order to help the people, it's important to have a well organized plan on the day your plan to run for office and explain that plan to your fellow citizens and get their feedback. This is what President Obama did during his campaign and during his term in the White House. Sandy Stimpson says the population in the city of Mobile is declining. As a citizens of Mobile, I have a different opinion. Since Hurricane Katrina in August 2005, the population increased. Due to the heavy home and building damages, lost of loved ones, and extreme flooding from New Orleans, Louisiana to south of Mississippi, people had to move to different cities in the U.S. including Mobile, Alabama. At the time, Mobile, Alabama was the most stabilized city south of the Gulf Coast Region of the United States that has survived Hurricane Katrina. Between 2005 and 2013, some of the schools of the Mobile County Public School System were becoming overcrowded with students. Because of this, some schools had to have new additional wings and new schools had to be built. Because of the rising population, new houses and apartments are constantly built. During each week, there is so much heavy traffic on the interstate and every street in West, South, Midtown, and Downtown Mobile. Because of the increasing heavy traffic, interstate 10 as well as regular roads such as Hillcrest, etc had to be widened. Also, I have a great concern about the conflict of RSA (Retirement Systems of Alabama) and API (Alabama Policy Institute, in which Sandy Stimpson was chairman of). When I read some articles in the Mobile Press Register, I knew that Sandy Stimpson's goal of getting rid of the idea of pensions was to help keep his money (as well as other rich people's money) in his pocket. Rich people don't like to pay taxes at all. When Sandy Stimpson talks about getting rid of the idea of pensions, the older citizens who are middle class will have difficulty making ends meet when they retire from their jobs. Some will be too old to get back in the world of hard labor. Getting rid of pensions will be easy for the rich citizens of Mobile because they will be able to survive with their own money, but it's the working class people that is going to endure harsh times when they retire later. Thousands of dollars in money doesn't last long. It may last as much as a few years, but not forever. Lets us not forget, in the city of Prichard, Alabama, hundreds of people went without their pensions and they struggled and endured hard times. The older citizens of Prichard went through hell. Now about the pipeline through the watershed, this was a subject (that was a no-brainer in my opinion, either you are with it or against it). There is nothing to think about. Me personally, I don't want to pipeline through our watershed, this will damage our drinking water. Sometimes people can answer a question by not answering it at all. Always be careful of someone who gives you a different answer besides "yes" or "no" to a yes or no question. Trust me when I say there is a difference between running a government and running a business. We are not businesses nor money rackets, we are human beings with different lives and circumstances. If there is enough money in the budget to give out benefits such as raises for employees, then promises made to the citizens will be fulfilled. If there isn't enough money in the budget to fulfill a promise, then that promise is broken. If a politician has to cut other sections in the budget in order to fulfill one section, lives of people are going to be affected, and the outcome may not be good. You have to come up with a plan so other sections in the budget as well as the citizens won't be affected in a negative way. Some (not all) of the citizens of Mobile, Alabama have the tendency to make decisions without thinking and asking questions (I'm not trying to judge anyone, this is only my opinion). Decisions always have consequences.

Where would the United States Of America Be Without Our Immigrant Brothers and Sisters?

Some thoughts were going through my mind about immigration. I just can't believe how ungrateful and disrespectful some of the Republicans in the United States of America are to people from other countries. United States Of America wouldn't be what it is today if it weren't for immigrants. It is very important that we as American citizens should help immigrants because they have done so much for America for centuries. The wonderful bright ideas of immigrants are what helped the United States Of America progress and thrive into a good country.

The Positive Progress of Mobile, Alabama Mayor Sam Jones

Hello Everyone,

I can say from the bottom of my heart that our current mayor Sam Jones is doing a wonderful job in the city of Mobile, Alabama. During his progressive leadership, Sam Jones' has made numerous accomplishments regarding employment and ideas that have been executed with the help of some (not all) of the Mobile City Council. Some ideas include the Moon Pie Drop, an idea that came from the mind of City Councilman Fred Richardson. The New Years Eve Moon Pie Drop is part of the entertainment activities in the city of Mobile, Alabama. These activities attracts thousands of people from different places for New Year's Eve every year because of this Moon Pie. The Moon Pie brings in money because people go to several different clubs (some of the clubs require a door fee) and buy drinks (which are expensive). All of these Clubs, Lounges, and everything else that is in Downtown Mobile have to pay taxes. They have to pay taxes so everything can be updated and people who work for the city get paid. Just like the Moon Pie Drop in the city of Mobile, in the state of Alabama, there are several attractions that people go and see in each state in this country, and each site promotes vacationing and tourism. Tourism brings in money. Another idea (that is currently in the making), the Mobile Skateboard Park, is an excellent idea because this will give minors something to do and keep them out of trouble. Everywhere I go I see minors hanging out talking to their friends with their skateboards in their hands. It always helps to provide minors with positive activities that they like to do in order to keep them from doing things that are negative. The Skateboard Park would be another step to keep crime within minors down. The Mobile City Curfew, a law about a certain time minors have to be home around nighttime, was the first idea executed by Mayor Sam Jones. This law also helped minors stay away from negative activity. As for employment, Sam Jones came up with an excellent idea of the penny sales tax in order for people to keep working and not get laid off. It's important that the city of Mobile have police, firefighters, and garbage collectors (especially garbage collectors, which is a necessity, it gets HOT in Mobile and the combination of heat and piles of garbage being around the neighborhoods and streets is one ugly sight, not to mention the smell, the flies and maggots). Also, Sam Jones has brought numerous jobs from several countries around the world to help progress the city of Mobile as well as the Mobile citizens: Safran Engineering Services, SSAB in Sweden and China,  BAE in the UK, Airbus in France, ST Aerospace in Singapore, ThyssenKrupp in Germany, Austal in Australia, IPSCO/Outokumpu in Canada/Sweden, and AVIC in China. Mayor Sam Jones also let the Publix Grocery and Pharmacy come to Mobile for people to find work. I was so in love with Sam Jones Re-Election Commercial because he listed all of his accomplishments regarding employment and economic development and this list proves that he (Sam Jones) is excellent leadership material. My family and friends from Theodore, Alabama are very excited to be part of Mobile, Alabama and they can tell others that Sam Jones has kept every promise that he made to them. Improvements in Theodore, Alabama have been made eversince it became part of the city of Mobile. Theodore now has its own park, where minors can play their favorite sports in the little league level, baseball, football, soccer, and cheerleading. Theodore has a little league football team, Theodore Jaguars (I think that is the name of the team) These are positive activities that can keep minors out of trouble and have confidence within themselves. Theodore now has a fire station to manage fire hazards and garbage collectors and trucks to pick up garbage. People said they want change, but change has already came to the city of Mobile, Alabama since Sam Jones became Mayor of Mobile. We as a city have come a long way and we can't afford to turn back now. We as a city are just beginning to thrive and shine. Sam Jones needs to finish what he started. Sam Jones for Mayor of Mobile!

Injustice: The Not Guity Verdict of George Zimmerman

Hello everyone, I'm very disappointed with the verdict of George Zimmerman, who walked away smelling like a rose from court in Florida. How can someone who was told by the Florida police not to follow someone but decided to anyway be found innocent? George Zimmerman claims he acted in self-defense, but Zimmerman is the one who provoked and started this mess. Trayvon Martin didn't have any weapons on him. Also, George Zimmerman is way bigger than Trayvon Martin. Zimmerman took the law into his own hands when he was not suppose to and now a young human being, a minor, someone's child, is dead because of it. Also, Trayvon Martin's civil rights were violated because George Zimmerman stopped him from going where Trayvon needed to go to. Trayvon Martin could've been alive today if Zimmerman would've followed the police instructions. I want to ask those people who voted that Zimmerman is not guilty how would you feel if your child or children went out to the store in the middle of the night and a stranger sees them and decides to commit crimes against them especially when your child or children didn't do anything wrong? These jurors didn't put themselves in the place of Trayvon Martin's mother. These jurors didn't even put themselves in the place of Trayvon Martin. Do the jurors really care? Was wish I was part of that jury in the court in Florida. I would've printed and distributed copies of the USA Neighbor Watch Handbook and let those jurors read it! The verdict on George Zimmerman was not fair not to Trayvon Martin and his family. The verdict of George Zimmerman tells us that injustice and unfairness is allowed throughout the country, so anybody who is in authority, whether armed or not, or anybody who shouldn't be armed but they are, can get away with anything they do wrong to their victims. This horrible ordeal proves the justice system has failed us. I said this in my last blog entry: Neighborhood Watch people should not be carry any weapons whatsoever! If the Neighborhood Watch should always call the police if they see something wrong, not do everything yourself and take the law into your own hands. George Zimmerman had no business with a gun! Everyone in America can see that was more than enough evidence to put George Zimmerman behind bars. On Friday, July 12, 2013, I felt racially profiled and insulted when the police went on national television and said when the verdict comes out that Stanford has always been a "peaceful community" among its citizens and it will always stay a "peaceful community". In translation, they don't want trouble and they don't want their city torn up! When the verdict comes out, the police wants the African American citizens to remain quiet and go on with our lives. Do they honestly think that its ok to bring oppression upon us and expect us not to do anything about it? No! Can you hit an elephant repeatedly and not expect that elephant to hit back? No! That elephant is going to do everything in its power to fight back because that elephant has been picked on repeatedly! If we as a unity get angry, it is because of the injustice and wrongdoings that were committed by the people who worked in the system that has plagued us throughout the years. But the truth is, not only African Americans are upset, but also some people of all ethnic backgrounds are upset too about this injustice. I'm a person, I have emotions just like they do! But I don't go out and wreak havoc and start mess every time something doesn't come out right. We can't settle for this injustice! When Trayvon Martin lost his life and lost the case against George Zimmerman, all of us lost as well! We as a people of unity can't move on with our lives and let people with badges and wannabes who are part of the system continue with committing wrongdoings! If we let them do this they will think this is ok and they will keep on with their wrongdoings! We as a people of unity will never have freedom until we discover the true definition of liberty and justice! When we learn the what our rights are, we as a people have to learn how to keep them, whether it takes years and years and years of protesting, marching, and rallying. If we don't do something about this, old Jim Crow will sneak back up on us. I don't believe in committing violence in order to prove a point. Two wrongs don't make a right. So what does this so called "Stand Your Ground" really mean and who does it really apply to?

Justice For Trayvon Martin

Hello Everyone, I hope everyone is focused on the trial of George Zimmerman. What happened to Trayvon Martin was an outrage! I don't ever want this to happen to another innocent human being! Taking the law into your own hands is never the right thing to do in a difficult situation such as this, there is always a bad outcome. George Zimmerman took the law into his own hands when Trayvon Martin was shot and killed. George Zimmerman had no business with a gun on him while being part of a neighborhood watch program. So why on earth did George Zimmerman have a gun on him? The use of any kind of weapons shouldn't be allowed at all during neighborhood watch programs. Innocent human beings could've gotten hurt. People who are part of the Neighborhood Watch Teams are only suppose to look out for things that look suspicious, write down observations, then let the law enforcement handle it if something goes wrong. George Zimmerman need to be found guilty for shooting a human being. People who feel sorry for George Zimmerman don't understand that there are rules and regulations of being a Neighborhood Watch Program. People who feel sorry for George Zimmerman really don't understand what it is like to lose a child to violence especially a child who didn't do anything wrong. I wish I was part of the jury in the courtroom in Florida. I would be expressing my sympathy to Trayvon Martin's family. In my opinion, Trayvon Martin deserves justice. And I hope Trayvon gets justice. Below is a hyperlink to a neighborhood watch manual (it takes a few minutes to load up). You read it and figure out for yourself who deserves justice.

To Lady Rice (About The City of Mobile, Alabama Election for Mayor)

Dear Lady Rice,

I hope you are doing fine today. I read your comment on my recent entry "Open Letter to Sandy Stimpson".  Lady Rice, my blog entry that I recently posted  about Sandy Stimpson was about the subject of historical rememberance and the ever battling conflict of rich versus the middle class. Lady Rice, I too wish we lived in a world where race, gender, and social class doesn't matter. But unfortunately we don't live in that kind of world. This, Lady Rice, is the real world and this real world is filled with real issues dealing with people's lives. To be honest, Lady Rice, I love all people, regardless of race, religion, etc, but that is just me. The purpose of my entry is to educate and inform people about the comparison of others' views of African Americans in the past, wearing the "blackface" image as well as the acting out the stereotypical characteristics and how Mobile Republican Candidate Sandy Stimpson and his volunteers portrayed his current views of African Americans as well as the young Americans of today with the Harlem Shake video. It's the same thing but updated. If Sam Jones was a white man and a Democrat I would still vote for him because he knows exactly what it's like to struggle. Sam Jones and Democrats knows what it is like to actually work for a living, working hard to get paid. Sam Jones and Democrats actually knows what it's like during hard times. Also, Sam Jones is not rich. He currently makes good money, but he is not rich. Sam Jones and other Democrats actually knows how the real world works and not have a dime to his name. Sam Jones knows deep in his heart that people in the city of Mobile actually need help in order for them to have a better life and survive. Not everybody was born with a silver spoon in their mouth like your Republican Candidate Sandy Stimpson, Lady Rice. There are real people out here struggling in the City of Mobile! Sam Jones is not like those stuck up, snooty people and politicians that you see in these historic fancy buildings of here in Mobile who are saying in their minds to people who are currently struggling and unfortunate, "I got mine, now you are going to have to go and get yours!" The crime in the City of Mobile is very high, Lady Rice. Do you know why the crime is high? Because people out there are struggling to make ends meet especially on Christmas time! When people go out and try to find a job out in Mobile, employers turn down several people and they don't get hired. Some people don't go out and start robbing and stealing just for the fun of it, please!
Even though I'm discussing about crime in a certain manner, I do not consider committing crimes as an option for anyone.

There are also some people out in Mobile working two jobs at the same time, and even though some people are working two jobs at the same time and with the robbing and stealing and dealing drugs that's going on some these people are still living in poverty. And do you know why they still live in poverty, Lady Rice? Because all of these Republicans in Mobile, Alabama don't care about no one except the rich. Republicans are not out to help the middle class and the poor class. Republicans are out helping the rich! And you must understand Lady Rice the reality is that not everything happens overnight. Sam Jones is doing his best for the City of Mobile to get more jobs!

Also, what some people in the city of Mobile is that Sandy Stimpson is a businessman. A businessman is a very smart person when it comes to persuading. He knows what to say and not to say in order to make a sale, a profit. Stimpson knows Psychology and knows how the mind works. Businessmen will talk to people repeatedly until they fall for them.

That video Sandy Stimpson made was and still is an insult to the African American Community, but he knows it sells to the younger crowd in the city of Mobile, Alabama.

Open Letter To Sandy Stimpson, Republican Candidate for the 2013 Election of Mayor of Mobile, Alabama

Dear Mr. Stimpson, I notice that you are following me on Twitter and I'm flattered, but I must remain true to myself, for it will set me free. I know that you are a Republican Candidate running for the election of Mayor of Mobile, Alabama. To be honest Mr. Stimpson, your strategies and tactics of attracting African American voters in the city of Mobile doesn't impress me. They may charm some of the African American Community but not all of them. This video of you doing the Harlem Shake, Mr. Stimpson is very insulting to not only to Mobile Alabama African American Community, but also to all African Americans around the United States. When your campaign organization produced the video of themselves along with you doing the Harlem Shake dance, you along with your campaign organization created an offensive stereotype about the way all African Americans behave on a daily basis, a stereotype about African Americans in a negative way. This video of the Harlem Shake, Mr. Stimpson, reminds me of the time of old movies, Broadway shows and plays, with white actors and actresses who would put on the "blackface" makeup to make them look like stereotypical black people, then they go on stage and act out their parts of Black characters in movies and on stage. The "blackface" is an insult to all African Americans of the past and present, the face black as charcoal, the big eyes and nose, and most of all the big lips. The characteristics of African Americans the actors and actresses displayed in the past are in insult as well, having slurred speech and incorrect vocabulary, not having any education nor common sense and being lazy in nature. Not all of us as African Americans are charcoal colored faces, not of all us have big noses and big lips, Mr. Stimpson. And just like all of us as African Americans don't have charcoal colored faces, big eyes, noses and big lips like the "blackface" that those actors and actresses put on to perform on stage shows and movies in the old days, Mr. Stimpson, not all of us as African Americans do not get on top of tables and act like ignorant, wild people and get loud and crazy. We as African Americans have class and dignity. Not all of us are ignorant, Mr. Stimpson, we as African Americans have education too. All republicans talk a good game but when they get in the office, everything is changes. Promises are broken and everything that republicans say when they are campaigning is a different story, so I'm not falling for all this stuff you are displaying. As for your website that I've seen, I notice you say what the issues are but you are not coming up with any solutions. Mr. Stimpson, please don't pretend like you know how and what we, the citizens of Mobile who are struggling and buried with the burden of issues, are going through, because you can never ever walk a mile in our shoes. I don't know anything about your background, but you, Mr. Stimpson, probably never suffered, you have never "been without". You probably never even step foot in a public school in your entire life. The truth is, Mr. Stimpson, some republicans have never cared about the poor people. Anytime when State Representatives, Mayors, Governors and anyone else in politics who are republican want and seek their ideas to become state and federal laws, it is usually for THEIR satisfaction, to help other republicans who are and I say this in capital letters, PREVELIDGED, putting more and more money into their pocket and we, the suffering and struggling, always end up paying for it, it never fails. Ideas that come from republican thought NEVER help the poor people, they NEVER help the pain and suffering and there are millions of scars around the United States and the city of Mobile, Alabama to prove it. Republicans don't like to do anything for the community if the money has to come out of their own pocket. These are just simple opinions, Mr.Stimpson. I'm just exercising my first amendment. I have dignity, a mind and soul. All three are not for sale!

What is more important in life? Being Cool or Being Yourself?

Hello Everyone,

When I see these children in school, and I'm talking about students in each grade, they try so hard to "fit in" with their peers. In my eyes, children who are trying so hard to "fit in" are being followers. Fitting in is extreme pressure with in teenagers. To them this is a must, even if it is at the expense of others (bullying others), or other ways, weather if its buying brand name clothes, committing a crime, or disobeying parents, teachers in schools, etc. Teenagers who just learn to love and be themselves realize that deep down they don't need name brand clothes and labels to feel good about themselves. Teenagers who just learn to love and be themselves will understand that clothing and material things doesn't make a good person. They will also understand that other people can tell a lot about a person by the way he or she dresses and carry themselves. People will not take you seriously if you are wearing saggy pants or dressing revealing clothing. Teenagers who learn to just love and be themselves turn out to do well  in life, emotional and financially, turning out to be happy when they get older. Teenagers who learn to just love and be themselves realize the consequences behind every action. They learn to think ahead before they speak and react. They also learn that there is something deep inside themselves that make them wonderful people. When you become a successful person, some people in your life are not willing to take that journey with you. Teenagers who love and be themselves truly want more out of life. Teenagers who love and be themselves make decisions to help others throughout their lives. Teenagers who chose to be followers, on the other hand, don't realize the consequences they step into when they want to "fit in", weather if it's bullying other teenagers, buying expensive clothes, or committing crimes. Teenagers who think "fitting in" is more important than other things in life are headed for trouble! Every night I see teenagers, male and female,  on the news in jail because they chose to be followers than leaders. They don't know who they are and don't love themselves.

Girls, why do you get into fights with other girls over a boy? I just don't understand it? A boy is not worth it! I've seen too many girls fight over boys and end up in jail. The sad part is, while the girls are in jail being in a jail cell, looking at those same walls, those boys who you were fighting over are out living their lives, probably out with other girls, and not even thinking about you.

Also, the system (police, jail, prisons, courtrooms) makes so much money off of the ignorance and tragedy of people everyday. Please people, teenagers, do not trade your precious freedom for being the contribution of wealth for the system.

I know peer pressure is hard. I've been a teenager before (not so long ago). But I said no to some things because I knew they were wrong. Today, when I look back, I'm glad I said no to peer pressure when I was a teenager. I said no to drugs, said no to alcohol, said no to sex ( I stayed a virgin until the age of 20), said no to committing crimes, and I said yes to life, and to this day I have no regrets!  But I look at myself now and I'm glad I'm not in jail, I'm glad I don't have several children at home, and I'm glad I went to college. I only have one life and I'm the only one who can control it. I chose to be a leader and not a follower. I chose to be myself.

Freedom is priceless! Enjoy the priceless things in life!

Everyday should be Earth Day!

Hello everyone, I just want to say that every minute we as people do little things that we don't think about affects the earth in two ways, either negative or positive ways. Some people don't relize this, but the little things we do that we don't think about not only affects the earth but also our life spans (how many years we are on this earth). Some people don't even care about the earth the only thing they have on their minds are how much money they can make, they don't care about who is going to be in trouble, what is at stake, whether if it's a other people or animals. Life is so much more important and precious than money! This earth is precious and must be taken care of because even the best cures that help people from sickness and life threatening illnesses, that we as people have been trying to figure out for years, come from nature, from plants and animals! If we as people continue to harm the precious earth, such as littering and polluting the air and water, we as people continue to create harmful bacteria that cause illnesses and infections. These things that affect the earth in a negative manner will cut our lives short. Breathing in smog or smoke from the air is toxic and can cause problems in a human being's lungs and drinking water that is polluted may cause cancer or anything else inside a human being's body. Body air and water needs to be clean because we need both in order to survive. Let's help and save the planet not only to make the world a better place, but to also increase human being's and animal's life span. I have learned to appreciate the earth very much. Just looking at the grass, the trees, flowers, breathing fresh air and sky make me think how people just take nature for granted. Appreciating the miracles and wonders of nature can improve health by reducing stress. Appreciating nature can put a smile on your face and clears your head. Your ability to think is improved. Being in a cluttered city filled with noise and smog from factories can cause stress and troubles the mind. So, when you get the opporturnity, learn to appreciate nature by walking on the grass, look at the sky, or walk on the beach and listen to the music GOD has given us, the birds and crickets chirping and singing, the frogs croaking, the waves rolling in the oceans, and the sounds of the winds flying through the sky. Think about the gifts that GOD has given us. So people of the earth, what are you doing in order to make this planet a better place?

It's Time To Stop Making Excuses for Ourselves!

Hello Everyone, It has been a while since I wrote to the world. Right now I just have some randoms thoughts on my mind. What's on my mind: Public School Education. Let's face the REAL facts here. Public School Education is not perfect, I'll admit that. It has it's ups and downs. But when some public schools fail to meet academic progress, people are so quick to blame the accountability of the teachers and the school boards. People are so quick to say teachers don't care about the students, they are out to get a paycheck, and some people are quick to say that some teachers are being racist. Some people may say that the teachers are just, "picking on their babies" when something happens. These excuses, people, are the oldest tricks in the book and teachers and school boards ALWAYS fall for them. Teaching is the toughest job in the world today. We as teachers, can't do everything by ourselves, we need help also. If you want something better in life, you have to work for it, it's not going to jump in your lap. Everybody wants to have and be part of the American Dream, but it's up to us to do the work that is worth achieveing that American Dream. Recieving help in order for you to achieve the American Dream is not bad at all. There are organizations for the public as well as government organizations that can help people who are struggling. I got help for college with the help of the United States Pell Grant, but that is another subject. Anyway, we can't always put the blame on teachers and school boards everytime there is a problem with the public education systems. Everyone is putting the blame on everythings except where the blame should be on,the parents. Today in the United States, some (not all) of the students that attend public school that are little kids and teenagers have parents who are young (mainly in early 20s) and young grandmothers (in their mid 40s and early 50s).There is such a thing called "kids raising kids". When people are young (in their 20s and up), that is a "selfish period" or "selfish time" or "me time" in their lives, whether they are single or married. Please keep in mind that parents are really the first teachers. If something goes wrong in their lives they'll blame everybody and everything but themselves, not taking any responsibility for their actions and decisions. They don't want advice from their parents who are older or anybody else who have been parents way longer than they have. They don't want advice from anyone that is older and wiser when it comes to children, they rather learn the hard way (i don't know why) in my opinion. They think they know everything don't like to be told what to do (but down the road it always bites them in the butt). When the young parents' kids get in trouble at school, some (not all) parents go to the school not for what the child has done but for what the teacher has done. Also, the young parents as well as the children, from toddler to teenager, always knows and understands the jobs of the teachers and school boards. They (the young parents and children) are extremely quick to tell the teacher what his or her job is, but you know what, they (the young parents and children) don't understand what THEIR jobs and roles are as parents and children. Young parents today cares about what benefits themselves and don't think what benefit the children. They don't think about what is in the best interest for their children. When hard times come through regarding the children, some of the young parents don't want to do the work it takes to help their children or themselves, they want the easy way to get by. Also, there is alot of negative attitudes within the homes of public school students. We as people must have confidence in ourselves and do better. I can't speak for everyone, but I grew up in a two parent household and when I was a child. My family and I were living in apartment complex in South Mobile County, Alabama. While my mother, along with her sisiter-in-laws, were in night school, my father would help me with my homework while he and I were at home. During her free time,my mother helped me with my homework also. Now, I don't have any children of my own but I do realize that there are alot of single parent households in the United States. I realize that nothing is easy. I do however have some advice to parents who are holding everything down as raising children by themselves. Whenever you are at home with your children help them with their homework or read a book with them. The father of your kids should help out with this as well, whether or not he lives with you. In order for our children to care for themselves and their grades in school, the parents MUST be able to care for their children's education. Please remember again, nothing falls in your lap and nothing in this world is for free. All of us have to work and work the honest way if we all want what's better for ourselves.
